Options Window

SoliLuxe does not have any traditional drop-down menus. Instead, all features not present on the main screen are available on the tabs in the Options Window. (Click the "Options" button on the main screen to open it.)

Beneath the tabs are three buttons that are common to all the tabs:

• Help opens this help text on the relevant page for the currently displayed tab.

• OK saves all changes you've done to the first five tabs (single-player and graphics related), closes the Options Window and if necessary/possible implements the changes to the current game.

• Cancel closes the Options Window and cancels (almost) all changes done to the first five tabs.

As stated above, most "on-the-fly" settings can be cancelled by using the "Cancel" button, but some changes take effect immediately without the need to click on "OK". These are:

• Changes made with "Set theme" / "Forget theme" buttons on the Games tab.

• Changes made to the music player on the Settings tab.

• Everything on the Players tab.

• Everything on the Series / Scores tab.

• Everything on the Tools tab.

(As it happens, at the moment this can be summarized as "all registered user functions".)

Note for small screen users (600 pixels high)

The Options window is not intended to be used on screens less than 768 pixels high. However, it IS useable for users with a screen height of down to 600 pixels, at least for Windows users:

• To click the off-screen "OK" button, use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Enter or double-click a game in the game selection list.

• To close the window (Same as clicking the "Cancel" button), use Alt+F4.

• To switch between the tabs, use Ctrl+Tab.
