Players tab (Multiplayer)

(Registered users only:) This tab contains two lists to keep track of all SoliLuxe players and enable them to compete against each other.

All SoliLuxe players list: This list shows all players who can log into SoliLuxe to play using their own personal settings and statistics.

To define a new player, type in a suitable name in the text box below the "Add player" button and click it to add the player. As soon as the "All SoliLuxe players" list contains more than one name, the game will show a log-in dialogue box immediately on startup where you can select the player whose settings you wish to load. (The last player to have used the game will be pre-selected in the log-in dialogue.)

To delete a player, select a player in the left list and click the "Delete player" button. (Note: You cannot delete the currently logged-in player — or the "Guest" player, since "Guest" is the default player in SoliLuxe.)

Currently active players list: Active players are the currently logged-in player plus any additional players "invited" to play the games in a round-robin fashion.

To add an active player, select a player in the All SoliLuxe players list and click the Move to active button to add that player to the "Currently active players" list. (Or, simply double-click the player name.)

To remove an active player, select a player in the Currently active players list and click the Remove from active button, or double-click the player name. (Note: You cannot remove the currently logged-in player from the list.)

Playing with multiple active players: SoliLuxe will play the game using the currently logged-in player's settings. Usually games are played one player after another so that when player 1 finishes his game, clicking the New button brings up player 2 and so on.

At the very bottom of the main screen menu, the name of the player currently playing is always shown. The current scores for all active players can be seen in the scoring table in the Series / Scores tab.

With games that are really multi-player in nature to begin with, there are some exceptions to the playing order:

As soon as you select another type of game, the current game round will restart with the loggged-in player, who is always the first player in the active players list. Also, clicking "New" when a shared game like Bowling or Memory is in progress ends the game for all players and restarts a new round with the logged-in player playing first.
