More of a sorting game than a building game, the object of Gaps is to sort each suit from deuce to king on its own row. It may look like a purely mechanical exercise but when several moves are available, the order in which you make them can make the outcome quite different.
The game is nigh-on impossible to win as it stands, yet traditional rules actually call for only one redeal to be allowed instead for the two used in this version.
Tip: Avoid making gaps to the immediate right of king for as long as possible. When all gaps are to the right of kings, you have to redeal - or forfeit the game, if the redeal has already been made.
