Free vs. Registered Game

SoliLuxe is what we like to call "Very Generous Shareware". All essential single-player game features are fully functional in unregistered mode, and you can play all included games this way for as long as you like. (An unintrusive nag message will pop up occasionally when you open the Options window to remind you that some features are unavailable to you.)

If you like and play the game a lot, you should of course buy a registration code to support the development and get all the extra goodies.

Here is a list of the features only available to registered users:

• Save graphics theme settings per game in the Games tab: Make sure you always get the Bowling cards and backdrops when playing Bowling, always get the Memory card deck automatically selected when playing one of the Memory games, etc.

• Music player in the Settings tab: Select a music folder of your choice and have SoliLuxe play the files in that folder. Play/Pause, Skip and Volume controls for the player are available in the Settings tab, and also as keyboard shortcuts.

• Define multiple players in the Players tab: This enables different people to log into SoliLuxe using their own favourite settings, personal statistics and previously saved games. Setting up several active players allows them to play against each other.

• Keep track of the scores or define a series of games to play in the Scores / Series tab: Combined with the multiple player setup in the Players tab, this allows for tournament play.

• BackdropMaker Tool: Select any .jpg or .png file you like and turn it into table and menu backdrops in seconds.

• DeckMaker Tool: Select any .jpg or .png files you like and turn them into a deck of cards.

• IconMaker Tool: For game developers — create icons for new games in seconds.

• ListMaker Tool: Create game lists to organise all the games, and share your lists with other users.

• Screenshot keyboard key: Also for developers — create the screenshots for new game descriptions by the press of a single keyboard key.

• Finally, a complete soundtrack is available as a separate download to all registered users!
